Explaining The Concept of Prioritization

My husband thinks he is superman. He thinks he can do everything...

Honestly, while I admire his can-do attitude...I really worry that he has too much on his plate. I don't understand why he needs to do the little things or worry about others.

If I point this out, he complains that I don't care or I don't appreciate him enough.

I do! Infact I worry about him and his health that's why I want to help manage his life. So in my defense, I spent the entire weekend explaining to my husband the concept of prioritzation.

The explanation that worked was this story...

I  feel this is a very early start to parenting. I have to find the best way to explain my point. Sometimes, even suggestions with the best intentions are not appreciated.

After the story, my husband saw my point. So now he is thinking about his top 5 priorities.

At the end of the day, I just want him to feel happy about himself. Men can only feel happy when they have accomplished their goals.

How about you? What are your priorities in life? Will they help you achieve your goals?

Cheers,

L
