Day 15: Alcazaba Alakazaam

Andalucia was a region dominated by the Moors and the same region featured in Paulo Coehlo's book, The Alchemist. This region was an important scene during the crusades.

We planned to visit some of the best forts in the region. Each city has it's out fort because each had a different set of rulers.

Our first stop was built in the 11th century and remains to be one of the best preserved forts in the country.

This place is just so beautiful that I can't help but feel jealous that we never preserved our old cities and old houses.

Each decoration was crafted to perfection....each with details showcasing their religion and skills.

I don't think words can give justice to the beauty of this place.

Breathtaking

Still on Pause,

L
